Our Story: From Waste to Riches

Born from a vision to transform waste into wealth, Kibmist Enterprises Limited is rewriting the future of agriculture in Kenya's Lake Victoria Region.

Where It All Began

In 2016, in the heart of Kenya's Lake Victoia Region, a simple observation sparked a revolution. Local markets were discarding tons of organic waste daily—cabbage leaves, banana peels, pumpkin, mango, e.t.c—while nearby farmers struggled with depleted soils and declining yields.

What if waste wasn't waste at all? What if it was the solution?

That question became Kibmist Enterprises Limited. We started with a small vermiculture operation, introducing earthworms to transform market waste into nutrient-rich compost. The results were immediate and transformative—farmers saw yields increase by up to 40%, soils came back to life, and a new sustainable economy began to emerge.

Today, we're more than a company. We're a movement proving that environmental restoration and economic prosperity can grow together.
