As featured by the Agri-Business Facility for Africa
With support from GIZ's Agri-Business Facility for Africa (ABF), Kibmist scaled its vermi liquid fertilizer to reach more smallholder maize farmers across Homa Bay and surrounding communities, helping restore soil health and reduce dependence on chemical inputs.
The initiative has also given 1,000 women and 1,000 youth green skills and climate-smart farming knowledge, creating sustainable livelihoods and green jobs. It was supported through the Matching Grant Fund, co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ.
